A Marginal Space (2017)

This series continues themes from "Between the Lines" (2016).  It is inspired by liminal, ambiguous places - tidelines, creeks, estuaries - where nothing is fixed nor completely solid.  Years of exploring and photographing the marshes and shores of North Norfolk and Essex influenced the work but none of it is a direct representation of a specific place.  On another level, the work can be seen as a reflection on the psychological space between knowing and not knowing, in which knowledge or understanding is emerging but not yet clearly grasped.

I wrote a blogpost about this group here.
